Green walls for a green city
Today our Team started to plan the post on dontwastemy.energy. We started Looking for some interesting Topics for our Project post.
First of all, we want to explain what green walls are and where they can be found. Moreover we want to Show, what effects green walls have on the air in Citys. As well we want to contact an architect to learn how a green wall is created and if there are any regulations.
The final summarize of our Topics:
1. What are green walls?
2. What effects do green walls have?
3. How is a green wall created?
4. Are there any regulations to build a green wall?
Here you can find our Project planning outline (as a mind-map):

We are Looking Forward to the Research!

Project: Green walls for a green city
Step One: Imagination

When I think of our project, it remembers me of all the green houses in the villages. I imagine a big city full of green walls everywhere you look with a lot of insects having their habitat there and a lot of healthy people living in those green houses.
More and more I recognise that green houses are most common in villages and not in big citys. I think in Citys green houses would be much more effective for the air and the whole environment as the villages are already located close to the country side. Furthermore I would like to write about the impact the plants really have on the air pollution. It would be also very interesting to get some statements from people who are living in a green house or at least next to one. Do they really feel the good impact of the plants in their habitat?
I am looking forward to work on our project!
Green walls for a green city!
We love the idea of a city full of houses, which have plants on their walls. Our vision is it to make the polluted cities cleaner with a lot of plants. We think that the air in the cities would be much cleaner and the living conditions would rise. Furthermore it looks awesome when you are passing a street full of green houses. In addition it is a fact, that green is the colour of luck and we are convinced that people in the city would feel much better by the coulourful impact of their neighbourhood. Moreover we would create a living room for a lot of insects and for example some herbs directly under the windows.
If you are also interested in our idea please don't hesitate to contact us! We would like you to join our team!

Our task was to track the Food we are eating during the last week. Honestly, I forgot it very often. During the first two days I sometimes remembered to track my food but at the Weekend and the days after I totally forgot it. I recognised my unhealthy eating habits. Not that the food which I ate was unhealthy, but mostly I haven't got enough time to eat a complete meal. At the Weekend I had an eventing competition so I just ate some energy supplying snacks between the different disciplines. I know very well what my Body needs in those situations to push my physical Performance. Furthermore I recognised that I never eat a dinner meal, I just grab something out of the fridge after my trainings, which is at 21.00 the earliest. For the future I think I will try to take time for mealtimes. :)
The task was to think about possible ideas for a Project about our food consumption. We thought that the following ideas would be very interesting:
- Diffrences between the eating habits of the cultures (mealtimes)
- Who is eating the most fastfood and who is eating healthy?
- Which culture eats seasonal and organic?
- Is the most consumed Food either global or local?
- How much meat is consumed in one day?
- Which kind of meat is the most consumed?
- How many meals are vegetarian?
We are looking forward to the projects!

Our task was to create a mind-map with important things for the collaboration project. Furthermore we brainstormed some topic ideas for the project:
- What effect has meat consumation on the CO2 emission?
- Are there ecological plastic re-placers for our foods?
- How much of our food is imported?
- How can you reduce the energy use in the kitchen?
We think those would be very interesting project themes for a good website article.
